We had our first fishing lesson today at Spring Hill Trout Waters with Lee, and it was a brilliant experience. Lee was very informative, explained everything clearly, and made the whole lesson fun and enjoyable. We learned so much and came away feeling much more confident. We can’t wait to start our fishing journey and put everything we’ve learned into practice. Thank you, Lee – highly recommend!😀

Very picturesque and relaxing place. Took a lesson of fly fishing with my partner as complete newbies. Both caught fish in less than an half an hour of fishing. If you go fly fishing, you should know it’s not the relaxed “sit with a rod” type of fishing — it involves constantly moving around and recasting.

Beautiful space for a great day out. Would recommend a lesson with Lee if you’re a newbie to fly fishing like myself, he’s a fantastic teacher with a great knowledge and passion for fishing. I even caught 2 rainbow trout I was allowed to take home.
Will definitely be coming back! 10/10

This was my second visit, the first was a couple of years ago whilst camping at hop farm.
It was partly frozen over but Lee assured me on the phone that there were fishable swims and worth a hours drive, what a great day I had!
The location is picturesque, the two brown trout only ponds are a big attraction and lots of fish came out that day.
I’d highly recommend Spring Hill to any one of any level and will return again in the summer.

Amazing site and surroundings!
Never disappointed when fishing here, Lee and his team go above and beyond to accommodate needs and provide valuable coaching and advice home to hard fighting fish with rainbows browns and the odd surprise in the mix!

The site itself is well maintained and managed with a 4 ponds to suit the angler providing different angling opportunities throughout the day!

Thoroughly enjoy every minute here come rain or shine, hot drinks available, toilet facilities, ample parking with expert advice when giving information on the best tactics and approaches!

Thankyou for the days here, you are truly passionate about the fishery and it shows in the outcome and surroundings!

Me and my father had never been fly fishing and at 60 and 84 years old both disabled, we wondered if we could manage it. We had a instructor "Martin " who was very helpful, very friendly . We had 2 rainbow trout , which this time of the month we were told was not to bad. We had nice hot drinķ when we got back.
We both very much enjoyed are day , and will be back .
Thank you to all.
Mark.

Spring Hill has become my favourite go to trout lake as the setting is so beautiful and peaceful. Lee and his wife Jane are so welcoming and very honest about how the fishery is performing so you know straight away how easy or hard it's going to be. The rainbows I have caught over the last year have all been in top condition which is all down to Lee's dedication and hard work.
Recommend you visit and see for yourself.
Recently set my pb of 10lb 4oz at this very water.

Lee, was very informative and spent a few hours with my Nephew teaching him the basics in the art of fly fishing. I really enjoyed the experience as I have not been for many years and I managed to catch a lively 2.5lb rainbow. Thanks for a great day and I look forward to returning soon. Spring Hill has a great www. site, so I will leave you to read this at your leisure.
